Interestingly enough, I was just talking about the lack of expertise in content during my IU class this morning. There are quite a few names here that I call absolute bullshit on. I guess if your subscriber base is big enough, that doesn’t matter.
I don’t give a flying fuck how petty I sound, but I can tell you I won’t be tuning in to a singular bit of that programming.

But enough of those bad vibes. I’m currently on a flight to Denver where I will land and have very little time left to wait for TS12, The Life of a Showgirl. Tomorrow night, I’ll be back with the Sisters Haim1 and two of my dearest friends. Plus, my server at the airport said to me, “I hope you take this as a compliment but you have witchy, Florence vibes and energy.” Then we talked about astrology + tattoos + covens for about 10 minutes.
Basically, nothing can bring me down now.

Abbey Lee
Abbey Lee is forever one of my favorite models, even though she spells her name a lil bit wrong. She was a cornerstone of my time at Fashionista and I’m very happy to have her back in my life in a bigger way.
She plays a small, but pivotal role, in that new Jason Bateman/Jude Law show, Black Rabbit. The show’s low-key a mess, but I think she’s quite good in it while she’s on screen. Can the same be said for Jude’s accent or the story itself? No, it cannot. But I watched it all anyway.
Because she is a cool girl, Abs is also spending time with other cool kids (Harry + Zoe!) in Paris. Can I play the role of “fourth”?

I never fucked with Elizabeth Gilbert, who has her own buzzy (but not necessarily in a good way) narrative going. I couldn’t even get through the “Eat” chapter of that book and never saw the movie. And I’ve been saying the vibes are so off with that Mel Robbins lady since she arrived on the scene. Apparently, Amy Griffin might just be a bit of a story grifter, too. Katie Rosman and Elizabeth Egan from the NYT really did the reporting work here and I thank them for it.
