Oh they absolutely do fan service all the time and quite obviously. But I don't think they're trying to be LHH + Louis-coded bc there's NO way they're meaning to play into Larries. H or anyone signing off for him would not allow it (nor should they). They pick H-type models all the time. I have to say that guy is not giving H to me though in any way other than he has a great head of long hair. And Louis WISHES he was as handsome as the other dude...nor does he have a lock on wearing tracksuits ;)
I will say that I don't get Taylor's fashion choices. She seems... all over the place? Not cohesive? I mean, most regular people's wardrobe don't necessarily tell a story, but Taylor is always so precise in her messaging that it seems out of step. Frankly, sometimes it reminds me of Blake Lively, who famously doesn't use a stylist (but clearly has help pulling looks because she wouldn't have the time to do it on her own), and not in a good way.
Taylor's face, however, is so gorgeous in the denim shot I thought it was AI ;) And is that an LV bag in the back mesh-club girl pic? Kind of old school and clunky with a 'hot girl' outfit imo.
This is a basically a text convo I was having with a friend last night! The thing is—and nobody loves Taylor more than I do—she's never had great style and I don't think it's one of her innate gifts. (WHICH IS FINE! SHE HAS SO MANY!) That's a lot of why you see a lot of inconsistency. And I think why she doesn't branch out on the stylist front either. She doesn't always use one for off-duty either, but sometimes she does. I also think people read WAY too much into her off-duty looks in terms of Easter eggs + it's low-key maddening. (Meanwhile Blake absolutely needs a stylist. Always has. Even though I'd say she does have a much, much stronger sense of personal style. When she's working super closely with a designer, she's often spot on. When crafting a narrative, she can't do it as consistently as she could in partnering with a great stylist. It could and should be a real collaboration as I'm sure people have told her many times. But I don't think she wants to hear that...
